Description:
Shrub or small tree to 6m, bark rough and often shed in strips. Leaves alternate, to 30mm, sharply pointed, pubescent when young, 10mm, 5-petalled white flowers in few-flowered clusters, spring. Formerly Leptospermum whitei.
Special Features:
Flowers provide nectar and pollen for various insects, including moths and butterflies which attract insect eating birds.
