Description:

A striking clump-forming plant with large, glossy, heart-shaped leaves that add bold texture to shaded gardens. Produces small, scented flowers followed by clusters of bright red berries — all parts of the plant are toxic if ingested. Well-suited to damp, sheltered spots and pond edges, it is also an important native species for wildlife.
