A vigorous climbing vine with glossy green leaves and mauve, perfumed flowers in spring. Produces long, woody, velvety seed pods containing large brown seeds. Ideal for trellises, fences, or as a feature climber on trees, though it benefits from occasional pruning to maintain form.
