Description:

A low, spreading shrub with serrated green leaves and young foliage-tinged rusty brown. In autumn and winter, it produces striking yellow-green cylindrical flower spikes up to 10 cm long, attracting birds and providing a valuable source of nectar. Ideal for small coastal gardens, it also works beautifully as an edging plant or part of a mixed native shrub border. Pruning after flowering encourages healthy regrowth and more abundant blooms.
