Description:

A graceful tree with drooping foliage that rustles in the breeze. Produces reddish-brown flowers from March to May, followed by bird-attracting seed pods. Self-mulching and tolerant of S/E ocean winds, making it ideal for windbreaks and dune stability.

  • Tolerates drier sites

  • Grows on sand dunes
