Description:

A tree with a round to conical habit and slightly pendulous branches. Silver-green, pine needle-like leaves are complemented by red female flowers in winter and spring, and yellow male flowers in autumn and winter.

Special Features:

  • Male and female flowers on separate plants

  • Seeds attract Black Cockatoos

  • Tolerates drier sites

  • Fire-resistant

  • Fallen needles form a natural mulch

  • Timber historically used by early settlers for fence rails
