Description:
Densely tufted sedge with stems to 30cm long by 1mm thick. Found in swampy areas, often near mangroves. Minute flower spike at tip of stem.
Special Features:
Salt tolerant, food source for birds. It has been used in some traditional practices to treat various ailments, including fever.
