Tough, hardy sedge forming large tufts with long, arching dark green leaves. Tiny, perfumed cream flowers appear on spikes in summer. Extremely drought- and frost-tolerant, making it ideal for embankments, roadsides, and garden edges. A magnet for butterflies and excellent for soil binding.
